Southern Baptist Christian School Seniors Recognized By National Scholarship Programs

Thirteen Christian school students have been selected as scholarship winners from a field of forty-five finalists from nine states in the prestigious B.R. Chamberlain Foundation SBACS Outstanding Scholars Award Program for 2006.

SBACS’ Early Identification Program (EIP) was implemented to help member schools and their students develop relationships with Christian colleges and universities early in the high school years. Since its debut with the 2004-2005 school year, the program has enjoyed resounding success. In fact, more than 1,000 students in grades 9-12 have utilized materials sent to their school’s administrator or guidance counselor that request SBACS to promote them to Baptist colleges and universities.
